The primary purpose of Project Manager Principal role is to lead and manage all aspects of complex projects that support improvements to the biologics operations in Framingham Massachusetts. This role reports into the Director of Continuous Process Improvement and Operations Management Office

Job Responsibilities:

· Manage a variety of key projects via project life span methodology

· Lead project teams to develop project plans, budgets, timetables, tasks, performance requirements and communication process

· Monitor project progress, including the completion of tasks within time constraints, manage project budget, maintain continuity of functional plans

· Interact collaboratively with cross-functional project team members

· Serve as internal focal point for critical project information and communicate project status updates to senior management

· Identify project issues and facilitate resolution and planning for countermeasures

· Conduct risk management and scenario planning

· Drive development of contingency and/ or risk mitigation plans

· Identify and manage resource gaps

· Document decisions and action items of team meetings

· Provide coaching to cross functional team members and other project leaders

· Assist with continually improving the portfolio management process so that long-term business goals can be met

· Assist with development of Portfolio Management Team presentations and deliverables

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences and 10 or more years Biotech/Pharma commercial operations experience, or Master's and 8 or more years

· Minimum of 4 years successfully managing projects in a GMP environment ensuring robust compliance and validation strategy embedded in planning and implementation

· Demonstrated ability to utilize project management tools, methodologies, practices, and infrastructure, as related to the Biopharmaceutical industry

· Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders

· Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related project management role using MS Office Applications, MS Project (or other project management software), MS Visio, MS Access, and with an ERP System (Oracle preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired

· Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget

· Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

· Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence etc.).
